When I started beachcombing at Ebey's Landing, black rocks with bold white lines were the ones to find. They disappeared, and I then began to notice white rocks with black marks, which stood out against the sand. I picked one up and instantly saw images of characters. It was a huge discovery, and I've been finding them ever since. As I mentioned in my video, you have to look at many "cloud rocks" to find the ones that have hidden imagery. It's a fun treasure hunt!
Ebey's Landing is on Whidbey Island, about an hour's drive north and a quick ferry ride from where we live in Seattle if the traffic is light. We love to go up there for a few days at a time. It is pure creative inspiration, restorative, and peaceful.
